We all know yawns are contagious. Whether or not you’re tired, if someone yawns, you yawn. But does the effect go further, say into divorce? Researchers have found that people with divorced siblings are 22% more likely to divorce. When divorce is at a higher rate in a community or geographical region, it is called “divorce clusters”. The question on the minds of many is whether divorce clusters are coincidence or contagions, and can divorce spread from one marriage to another?
